This project revisits past exhibition projects designed by elsonstudio, creating flattened representations of the original space. The exhibition design convention of conflating elevation and plan is further abstracted, resulting in collaged works that reference the original exhibition while creating a theoretical space that exists on the drawing surface alone. The viewer is given a bird’s eye perspective that the visitor does not have access to — an ability to see all of the works in their spatial configuration in a glance. These omniscient views are juxtaposed with a curated flythrough of a 3d model of the exhibition, where circulation is 'spatial' yet controlled.
